The gameplay here has taken on a much more sandbox dimension and instead of sticking to the story, we rather deal with the implementation of loosely connected scenarios and tasks. The main difference is the fact that in the third part of the series we won't find a classic, compact story campaign. Just like in previous installments of the series, in The Guild 3 we play the role of a medieval townsman, dealing mainly with trade and politics, and our task is to create a strong dynasty, which will be able to survive even a few hundred years and changes occurring in Europe. The game's plot begins in 1400, the late medieval era, when a certain period of the world's development ends and a new way of thinking begins to reign. However, unlike its predecessors (and their official supplements), which were created by JoWood Entertainment and the 4Head Studios team, the new publisher of the series - Nordic Games - entrusted the task of creating the game to the GolemLabs team, previously known mainly for the series of geopolitical simulators SuperPower. Like all previous installments of the series, the title was created exclusively for PCs. The Guild 3 is the third full-fledged installment of the game series launched in 2002, which skillfully combines elements of economic strategies, life simulators and RPGs.
